Buchanan Technologies is looking to hire a Manhattan SCOPE (WMS) Analyst for a full-time, direct hire opening: http://ow.ly/PRhWa -- **Candidates can be based/located anywhere in the United States**.  The SCOPE Analyst is a key member of the Systems Production Support team responsible for the supporting of Manhattan Associates SCOPE Warehouse Management System. The position will require travel (50%) to client locations across North America. The position will be aligned to our corporate office but can work from any locations as long as there is access to a large metro airport.

Responsibilities
• Consulting and coordinating between the Company and customer IT departments to resolve systems related issues
• Make configuration changes to base functionality of the WMS system to facilitate operational changes
• Design and document new functionality and reports as needed, including integration with customers and automation
• Work with operation to improve efficiencies at the facility and cut costs
• Be the liaison for the WMS system to other parts of the company
• Test all changes made to the WMS system including testing for all SDNs from Manhattan
• Resolve all WMS systems tickets open by operations
• Provide knowledge and advise to the operation for future development
• Interfacing with operations management and end users to provide required systems training
• Insure that the systems comply with Company security policies
• Create documentation as per the Company process

Qualifications
• BS/BA Computer Science, Business, Engineering preferred
• 2 + years required, 4+ years preferred progressively responsible business experience implementing or supporting large, complex, business critical systems preferred
• Supply chain warehouse execution systems with high volume transaction interfaces  a must
• Knowledge of enterprise hardware platforms such as UNIX and/or Linux servers and Oracle relational databases preferred
• Outgoing, action oriented self-starter who enjoys a fast paced dynamic environments
• Detailed knowledge (concepts, functionality, and configuration) of Manhattan Associates SCOPE warehouse management system
• Functional knowledge of other Tier-1 software platforms, such as those provided by Manhattan Associates preferred
• Proven planning, organizational and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literate knowledge of hardware, software and workstations.
• Demonstrated customer relationship skills
• Ability to travel 50% travel to client locations across North America.
