Hello,

In our WM environment we have only one warehouse in WM and we are using Lawson also.

One functionality I am looking to see if it is possible is the ability to make certain items in a warehouse "Offliine" or un-allocable in both WM and lawson until a decision is made what to do with that item and either adjust that quantity or return to vendor.

The goal is to have the item quantity not available in lawson or WM anymore for end users but still be able to see the inventory as un-allocable in WM so we have the ability to track the inventory.

The items can be sent to a different location in the warehouse however I just need that location to make all items not be allocatable.

Any suggestions?

Thank You,

Kip

Hello Kip,Yes, this is a typical quality hold type of flow. There are two routes you can take, you can simply ad a QC lock code to the cases, which will make the inventory un-allocable in WM and will send a PIX transaction up to Lawson to notify it too that the product is un-allocable (assuming that logic is built into your WM-Lawson interface).

The other route is essentially the same, except you tag the location with a lock code, and then any inventory located in that location gets assigned that lock code. The subsequent un-allocable updates occur.Let me know if that helps.

These suggestions are great and should get me to the functionality I need.

Thanks
